Do you need to speak English for the Brainwave program to work?

Q: “Hi, I am really astonished by the information of the book and really happy to have bought it. In order to help my Wayseer children (2 out of 3) I’ve just bought the brainwaves 5 min ago. However, I hear that there is some spoken text in English. My children are French speaking. Can they still use the audio?”

My Answer: There is a bit of spoken text for the guided meditations, but the verbal guidance isn’t necessary. In fact we also bundle in the exact same tracks without verbal guidance for those who prefer to do the meditations without the distraction of the voice-over. As long as you can read the English instructions and relay them to your children the program should work well for them. If for any reason this doesn’t work for your children, we” give you a full refund.…

Is being a Wayseer often widespread within a family?

Q: “Is being a Wayseer often widespread within a family?”

My Answer: Yes. Being a Wayseer has been shown to run in families. One gene associated with being a Wayseer is DRD4 7R, which runs in families. It is a genetic trait that has been shown by the human genome project to be a positively selected gene – meaning that over the history of humanity it’s been a good and helpful trait to have.…

Through “The Wayseers,” I have gone from being depressed to being a proactive, optimistic, self-confident straight A student! … Where can I get more?

Q: “Hi! How are you? All your information is amazing!!! I have used your tips and suggestions and they have effectively helped me turn my pain into power. I am now pursuing a degree in child and youth care. I have gone from staying in bed, going through the motions and having no sense of normalcy, to a proactive, optimistic, self-confident straight A student! I now have hope and a new way of living… THANK YOU!!! I am doing a stigma reduction/reframing disabilities project. I am wondering if you have information more specific to stigma reduction and ADD, and if you know any other Wayseers who might be interested in working with me on this? Thank you so much, again for everything.”

My Answer: Glad to hear it! You can find a great community working on issues like those and a whole lot more information on stigma reduction and how to harness strengths unique to Wayseers inside Wayseers.org. There is a large and growing community of people inside Wayseers.org who are focused on how …

What are some pointers for finding my purpose?

Q: “Garret, thanks for Wayseers.org. What are some pointers for finding my purpose? I feel like an underachiever. The thing is, I love being a Wayseer and I want more. I know the Wayseers.org will play a big part. Thanks!”

Garret John’s Answer: Your outer purpose is most likely where your passion meets the world’s needs. It is the place where you can do the most good. It is the pursuit which makes you come alive. The U.S. Declaration of Independence says “Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” Notice it says “the pursuit of happiness”, because it is the pursuit that is your purpose and passion. Happiness is ineffable and not something you can directly achieve through your outward actions. So here are some tips on how to find your outer purpose …

- Which activities when you do them seem filled with grace?
- In which moments in your life have you felt most fulfilled?
- Where have you experienced yourself as full of life, brilliance and vitality? What were you doing? …

My ability to focus has improved beyond my wildest expectations. I am astounded!!

“I purchased both The DaVinci Method and Brainwaves programs and quite frankly, I am astounded!! I have only just started and already my ability to focus has improved beyond my wildest expectations.

I am involved in community development and the problems we face are daunting and extremely complex. I was having difficulty with a very short attention span so the results I am experiencing after only one week of using the Brainwaves material has given me a new lease on life. I am also studying The DaVinci Method and will be keeping you posted on development.

Thank you for a truly miraculous system through which suffering people can now be assisted in creating a better life for themselves and their children. You will surely be blessed for a major poverty alleviation program’s success and for enabling us to show people that they have the ability to pull themselves out of hopeless poverty and to move forward to a new and exciting future. I will spread the good word about your incredibly gifted ability to renew …

How can I transform into into a more creative/heroic person?

Q: “Hi Garret, I am a dreamer who can reach beyond the stars, but all of this is handicapped by my neurotic nature. How can I overcome this? I am in the medical field, and feel imprisoned by it. I lack creativity in my life. When (is it to late?) and how can I transform a neurotic into a more creative heroic Wayseer? Thank you.

My Answer: It’s never too late. So many truly creative individuals find themselves in a situation just like yours. Ultimately, you have a choice. Are you doing what you really want to do? If the answer is “no,” but you feel that you are already too invested in this career to abandon it now, then I recommend you find a creative expression that gives you some bliss. Then make it a priority to spend at least a few hours a week involved in that creative expression. The way you transform your neurotic tendencies into creative/heroic tendencies is to begin trusting your impulses more, taking more chances, being more honest, living …

What are ‘Wayseers’?

Q: “I keep hearing people referring to themselves or others as ‘Wayseers.’ What does that mean?”

My Answer: In my book, “The Wayseers,” I define a “Wayseer” as a natural born pioneer and visionary and who is also likely to be impulsive, distractible, sensation-seeking and creative. Think of “Wayseer” as a personality type – or more accurately a natural temperament some people have. People who are Wayseers tend to be labeled as “troublemakers” or “space-cadets,” and are much more likely to be diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, bipolar, OCD, autism or Aspergers; and tend to suffer from anxiety, depression, instability and addictions. Just about all Wayseers have the natural capacity to tap savant-like abilities if they can unlearn certain limits they may have been forced to accept from a society intolerant of rule-breakers, mavericks, change-agents and nonconformists. Depending on their talents and interests Wayseers tend to make great innovators, artists, athletes, emergency workers, performers and entrepreneurs. You can learn more about Wayseers, what makes them tick, how to overcome the weaknesses that come with this temperament and …

Wayseer Manifesto

Ask Garret

  • Clarification needed

Q: As I have found myself becoming more connected with The Way I feel I am beginning to notice how people who are in tune with The Way are not hard to recognize.  I’m not sure how possible this is, but I feel like I am beginning to see the relations between other people and The Way.  I encounter a lot of people who seem to be wayseers, but have not yet awakened to The Way.  Is there any way to aid these future wayseers in finding The Way?  What would be the best approach?

Garret’s Answer:  Thanks for reaching out. With regards to the “10%”… In nature, what is the ideal mutation rate for natural selection to work and evolution to progress? If it were 100%, then devolution would occur – entire populations of organisms would go into chaotic mutation one generation. Even 50% might be much too much. 10-20% mutation rate might be ideal for there to be fundamental stability with each generation, while 10-20% of that population mutates allowing for new …

  • How to Stay Committed

Q:  I just spent the last few most finally finding myself. I got laid off
and it probably turned out to be the best thing that happened to me because
I finally was able to figure out what was “wrong” with me (ADHD, etc). I did
some traveling, read a lot, and figured out how to my adjust sleep. I did a
few workshops that was very helpful in getting my ups and downs under
control. The problem is, I still have the same problem when it comes to lack
    of focus.

I’ve been trying to build websites that would monetize and create a product
that will help people and help sustain myself.  My last job, I got a new boss
that disliked me (prior to him coming on board I was doing fine). I don’t
ever want to be in an abusive position again. Because I was replying on the
income that came in, I didn’t have a choice put to put up with him until he
    decided to let me go.

    I …

  • Helping Wayseers Find The Way

Q: As I have found myself becoming more connected with The Way I feel I am beginning to notice how people who are in tune with The Way are not hard to recognize. I’m not sure how possible this is, but I feel like I am beginning to see the relations between other people and The Way. I encounter a lot of people who seem to be wayseers, but have not yet awakened to The Way. Is there any way to aid these future wayseers in finding The Way? What would be the best approach?

Garret’s Answer: I totally “get” what you’re saying. You are spot on. The best way to help people find the Way is to become a living, breathing expression of the Way. When your thoughts are guided by the Way you will spontaneously say and do the most surprisingly wonderful and miraculous things for people. Simple things that, because they are so perfect, so insightful, so impossibly knowing, will astonish and intrigue whomever you are with. Then through their relationship with …

  • Low Hanging Fruit

Q:Garret thanks for your site. I have just looked on the Internet at drd4r for the first time and am excited that my brain makes sense now and the answer to my issue is dopamine. I am not ADHD, I am hypomanic. Was wondering if you could direct me to any articles on the difference between drd4r, and drd4 with C allele for hypomania. I have not read your book yet but after thousands of sleepless nights have to agree that the only way I can control myself living with this bizarre chemical cocktail is to make every moment about love. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

My Answer: I wouldn’t worry much about the DRD4 allele specifics as of yet, because there are some very immediate and powerful psychological and lifestyle extrapolations we’ve already made in the book which are just plain helpful and practical for someone who is hypo-manic. Once you’ve benefited from that “low hanging fruit” then you might find digging deeper into the genetics to be an added benefit.
